Last weekend both teams competed in the Student Cup Finals which took place at Leeds and Leeds Met Universities. After two days of hard fought competition the men's team finished 13th out of 16 teams in the finals (32 teams in the competition) and the women's team finished 15th of 16 teams in the finals (30 teams in the competition).

The men's competition was won by University of London with Sheffield Hallam in 2nd place and Newcastle in 3rd. The women's competition was won by University College Dublin with Bath 2nd and Loughborough 3rd.
